As we enter 2026, we're seeing some of the largest software companies in the world centering Responsible AI, even if it means back-tracking on massive hiring and firing decisions - and that's good news for the sustainability and scalability of AI solutions. 🌍🚀

2026 is officially the Year of Responsible and Ethical AI! ⚖️🤖
Let us tell you why:
Most of us are back at our desks this week (at the latest), and the kids are back at school.
🏫 The shaping of strategies, the execution of projects, and the review of enabling policies are about to reclaim their place as our daily preoccupations. 2026 is our opportunity to center responsibility and ethics in all that we do. 🎯
Taking inspiration (and a few hard lessons) from companies realizing that AI without responsibility is simply bad business, organizations everywhere are under pressure to do better. 📉✅

🔹 Salesforce: After initially moving toward aggressive AI-based automation, Salesforce leadership recently signaled declining confidence in unchecked LLM-based solutions. 🔹 Klarna: This follows Klarna’s rehiring of customer service agents it had fired when it decided to go AI-first last year. The "Seatbelt" Moment 🏎️💨 This shift isn't new. Remember, cars were first released without seatbelts. It took years of activism to overcome commercial resistance and the "freedom to risk self and others" mindset. Today, a car without seatbelts is unthinkable. We are currently at that same crossroads with AI. 🛣️🛑
